What Is Alternative Provision?
Alternative Provision (AP) refers to education and support offered to young people who are unable to fully engage with mainstream school for a variety of reasons, such as social, emotional or mental health needs, anxiety, behavioural challenges or periods of instability. It provides a flexible, structured and nurturing environment where learners can work at a pace that suits their individual needs. AP focuses on rebuilding confidence, developing emotional resilience and maintaining academic progress, ensuring that every young person continues to receive meaningful education and support while alternative arrangements are in place.
What We Offer
Individualised Intervention Plans
Every learner receives a personalised programme based around their strengths, interests and needs. Plans may include academic work, therapeutic activities, skill-building and emotional support.
One-to-One or Small-Group Sessions
We provide targeted support that meets each young person’s preferred learning style and emotional readiness.
Safe, Structured Environments
Sessions take place in carefully chosen settings, ensuring young people feel supported, respected and secure.
Academic and Wellbeing Focus
We combine educational progression with practical activities that support emotional regulation, behaviour and confidence.
Our Approach
